Polycarbonate sheets

Honeycomb polycarbonate sheets - is a layered polymer material with porous structure. This material consists of two layers and these layers are interconnected by internal partitions called arrises of hardness. In Polymeric Products Factory whole production process is carried out with the help of modern technological equipment manufactured in Italy. Products of leader world prime producers such as Bayer and Sabic are used in the production of polycarbonate sheets in the factory .

Application areas of honeycomb polycarbonate:

Our factory offers 4 mm – 20 mm of high quality polycarbonate sheets. Irrespective of the thickness, areas of application of honeycomb polycarbonate sheets are as follows:

  • 4 mm – winter gardens, hothouses, suspended ceilings and advertisement structures (exhibition stands and show-cases)
  • 6 mm – wide application area (sun shades, hothouses, stained glass window)
  • 8 mm – wide application area (partitions, sun shades, hothouses, roofs)
  • 10 mm – for overall glassing of vertical and partially horizontal surfaces (skylights, sound-proof fences for motorways)
  • 16 mm – for ceilings with large passages (buildings, facilities)
  • 20 mm – glazing of stadiums, sport facilities, pools, pedestrian subways, bus stop covering, penthouse windows and balconies


POLYCARBONATE PROFILES

  • Polycarbonate profiles are specially designated for the installation of honeycomb polycarbonate sheets. Bend radius, thermal expansion factor of profiles match with the parameters of sheets.
  • Polycarbonate profiles possess high strength, transmit the light well, have light weight and are resistant to impact of ultraviolet radiation.
  • Linking profiles are used in laying out very long coverings, especially, covering of semi-dark roofs, so that light rays could pass through joints of sheets. Our polycarbonate contains UV resistant materials and this prevents distruction of polycarbonate sheets and profiles with ultraviolet radiation.
  • Advantages of polycarbonate profiles: transmission of sun light at joints of polycarbonate sheets; very light weight; flexibility and formation of hermetic covers.

Unremoveable linking polycarbonate profile

First of all, unremoveable linking profiles are used in small construction polycarbonate sheets – constructions with smaller connection distances. This profile is ideal for connecting polycarbonate panels in vertical position (office partitions, billboards, light panels, etc.)

Removeable connecting polycarbonate profile

It ensures fast and reliable connection of panels with frame and at the same with each other. Profile consists of two sections: bottom section - “base” and top section - covering “cap”.

Covering polycarbonate profile

This type of polycarbonate profiles is for covering and tight joining the ends of polycarbonate sheets. Besides bordering ends of polycarbonate layers, covering profiles protects them from breaking, bending and other deformations and also, removes moisture of condensation originating inside the pores. This type of profiles can also be used for bordering ends of equally thick layers made of other hard materials.
